With the Havelyn-to-Manetain rebrand now complete, protecting yourself from counterfeit sellers matters more than ever. This guide walks through every step to confirm you are buying a genuine product.
Step 1: Confirm the Website
The only official website for genuine products is manetain.pk. Watch out for:
- Lookalike domains with slightly different spelling
- Social media pages claiming to be "official" without linking directly to manetain.pk
- Marketplace listings using the Havelyn or Manetain name without being connected to the official site
Step 2: Check the Shipping Origin
Every authentic order is shipped exclusively from Karachi, Pakistan. If a seller's parcel is coming from Lahore or anywhere else, it is not from the official brand — this has been one of the clearest signs of counterfeit sellers in the past.
Step 3: Examine the Packaging
Compare the product you received against the official photos on manetain.pk. Pay attention to:
- Label text, spelling, and logo placement
- Bottle or jar shape and cap design
- Batch or packaging quality — counterfeit products often use cheaper materials
Step 4: Be Skeptical of Unusually Low Prices
Counterfeit sellers often undercut official pricing significantly to attract buyers. Official current pricing includes:
- Hair Food Oil — PKR 1,900
- Night Cream — PKR 2,199
- Hand & Foot Cream — PKR 1,999
If a seller is offering these at a fraction of the price, treat it as a red flag.
Step 5: Contact Us Directly If Unsure
Before completing any purchase from a seller you're unsure about, message the official team directly. We're always happy to confirm whether a listing, page, or seller is authorized.
What to Do If You Were Sold a Fake Product
- Stop using the product immediately if you notice irritation, breakouts, or skin darkening
- Report the seller's page or listing to the platform it was sold on
- Contact us so we can warn other customers about that specific seller
